Cheesy title, but I find it appropriate :XD:

THIS IS FINALLY COMPLETE. I don't even know how many hours I've spent on it. I'm guessing AT LEAST 20-30. This includes the pencil drawings on paper, inking it, FIXING THE INK where I didn't like it (like the hands), and then of course painting in all of the base color by hand, and finally the shading and highlights.
*whew*

Did I get too sparkle-happy on the gold? I REALLY LIKE THAT STAR BRUSH. It makes great sparkles

Fanart for a fanmade Hetalia video game, "RomaHeta."
I don't know a whole lot about it, but I did watch some of the gameplay on YouTube, including skipping to this part because I saw their outfits and they looked AWESOME.
So I had to find out where they were from!

Now I never did get straight if they were infected with the Error, or something different, but either way, I thought it would be cool to put Binary code across their eyes, as if they just got a virus? Hehe, I have weird concept of this :XD:
FIGHT IT ROMANO, FIGHT IT!! =P

Let's see... the hands actually did mostly come out great the first time on paper! They were just completely the wrong size and not proportionate to each other ^^; So I fixed that while inking.... Do they look all right now? THEY BETTER! :shakefist:

What else to talk about...? Oh yeah, I was trying to use thinner lineart again, but I think I started messing up on that when I was working on Romano :XD: So I hope the lineart doesn't look too horribly inconsistent between Veneziano and Romano.

Xepher from DDR was a great soundtrack while drawing this: [link]

First part of RomaHeta game I could find on YouTube: [link]

Almost forgot! If you're wondering (like I do) why Romano's eye is green, it's because I've seen A TON of fanart with his eyes green, and I took a liking to it. Therefore, green eye ;)
:new:Thank you to *Septic-Kitty for the verification that Hidekaz does indeed color Romano with green/hazel eyes. So officially, Romano's eyes are green. Although they are brown/gold in the anime like Veneziano's.

And I hope their expressions look all right! I'm happy with them~ :aww:
*continues to add stuff to description*
Since it may be a little misleading, I figured that Veneziano's cross would be in better light than Romano's, since Romano's arm is up, and therefore it's brighter. I was attempting to shade Romano's cross, but keep it shiny ;) Just hoping it doesn't look incredibly dull next to Veneziano's.
*needs to stop rambling about nothing :XD:*

I'll type more in later if I think of it~.
Enjoy this everyone!
IT TOOK FOREVER AND I LOVE IT!! >:U

And thank you ~Dynneekx for the suggestion on Romano's pose :aww:

:star::star::star::star:

Thank you for putting the critique thing up. XDD

The coloring in my opinion needs a little work, But It's very good. Here are a few flaws I spotted:

The eyebrows also look larger than they should, the Right eyebrow on Romano looks like it's going off his face, and so does his other eyebrow. Also Italy's Right hand looks a little to small and Is missing a thumb. And On skin, I would try cell shading on it, and blurring little of it, Same with the clothes. But the anatomy is flawless. ( In my opinion, others may not think the same way)

I hope this will help you in your future art. ^^;

Hehe, not surprised you've seen a lot of it :XD: But thank you very much! I hope you enjoy watching the play-throughs of it. It's a bit slow at first, but really good once you get into it :)

On the hand that Romano is pointing, the pointer finger and middle finger are a little long in comparison to his palm. Other than that, I think this piece is perfect!

Yeah, that'd be the first and possibly only thing I'd fix if I were to go back and change it x'D But, that'd be a pain in the butt with the layers and all, hehe.
Plus I feel like changing something after this long is cheating in a way, lol.

Thank you though!

I know how you feel. When I did the piece "Somber Despair"([link]) And when I finished it, I was all :iconchinalaplz::iconsaysplz:Yay! I finished it!

because the pic had taken a long time to do, mainly because the app I use on my itouch, Adobe Ideas, did not have the fill tool like it does today. After a few days, when I looked at it, I was all

:iconsadallthethingsplz::iconsaysplz:Dang it! I forgot the wings!

And because I am lazy, I have not changed it, but I'm still pretty proud of it.

Oh yeah, that looks like it took awhile! D: It is very good though, you should definitely still be proud of it! :aww:

And dang, that sucks you forgot the wings x'D That'd be a hassle to fix! But, if you do, it'd make it even better! :D

The downside is that Ruby (the one on the left, with the red fur) has eight wings. A pair on her tail, a pair on her back, a pair behind her ears, and a pair on her head. Echidna (the one on the right, with the grey fur), thankfully, only has three. A pair on her back, and one random tiny wing on her tail. She's a lot easier to do. On paper I can do all eight of Ruby's wings easily. On Adobe Ideas? Unless
I'm tracing it off of a photo of the original pic I drew, not so much.

Ouch, that's tough x'D But I bet the result is awesome! But yeah in that case, I don't blame you for not editing it right away...
